Sand Run Metro Park Big Bend trailhead was the beginning of this run. I ran north on the trail through beautiful scenery along the Cuyahoga River. This run ended just past the KB BioEnergy facility that converts bio waste into energy and usable bio-products. To be honest, the smell of the plant, situated on the other side of the river from a wastewater treatment facility, was the deciding factor that made me turn around. This was the starting point of my trek to the northern end of the trail.
